Summary

We are currently searching for an experienced Systems Engineer. You will work with various departments including Tax, Treasury, Integrations, and Implementation. You will contribute to increasing productivity in the workplace and balance various aspects of multiple tasks and projects. You will support the company's objectives by building relationships with integration partners, using your knowledge, experience, and skills to implement, test, and support new system integrations.


Your duties will include:

Integrations/Implementation:

  • Synthesizing and documenting requirements for process improvement, enhancements, new software, and strategic initiatives
  • Coordinate and perform activities and support data transmissions related to integration of data and systems such as direct 180 and 360 feeds between iSolved API software and benefit carriers and administrators
  • Troubleshoot technical or configuration issues for the clients to ensure APIs, integrations, and data transmissions are successfully enabled and functioning as desired
  • Execute test plans and scenarios including data extraction/transformation, and networks
  • Maintain iSolved Integration knowledge in data integration techniques, tools, and services to meet business needs
  • Assist, troubleshoot and/or advise on strategy with iSolved software implementation tasks/projects where required

Tax & Treasury:

  • Advise internal stakeholders on tax planning strategies, including deductions, credits, and other tax-saving opportunities
  • Perform or direct the performance of multi-state service bureau level payroll tax compliance functions which can include processing tax notices, client setups, monthly/quarterly/annual filings, client services, POA's, state registrations and client onboarding
  • Perform or direct the performance of monthly uncashed check reconciliations
  • Perform or direct the analysis of multi-state service bureau level payroll tax data and perform calculations, ensuring that payroll information is reported accurately to federal, state, and local agencies
  • Perform or direct the performance of the process for receipt, disbursement, banking, protection, and custody of client trust accounts, company funds, securities, and financial instruments

Other duties will include:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and refinement in Tax, Treasury and Integrations
  • Create SOPs, outlining completion of processes and best practices

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in the Payroll industry
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a Tax, Treasury, Implementation and Integrations roles within the HCM industry
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience integrating 180 and 360 feeds between iSolved API software and benefit carriers and administrators
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience managing and leading a team
  • Proficient in iSolved, Salesforce and other internet-based applications highly desired
  • Experience developing and implementing business processes
  • Experience in continuous improvement and process development
  • Proficient in creating standard operating procedures
