Summary:
Do you currently work in HR and are interested in leveraging your expertise to help a variety of businesses across the United States? We are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator who will be responsible for various Human Resources functions. This includes a variety of responsibilities such as: administrative functions, recruiting and onboarding, employee relations, coaching, training and development, payroll processing.
Your duties will include:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Assist the Human Resources Business Partner in all outsourced client tasks and duties, including creation of employee handbooks, job descriptions and other forms and templates.
- Contribute to the development of our Human Resources Outsourcing division.
- Produce and submit reports on employee turnover, time to fill, cost to fill, net promoter score and other relevant HR KPIs and activity, for both internal employees and external client's employees.
- Educate and communicate company personnel policies and procedures to newly hired and current employees.
- Assist in recruiting, hiring and onboarding employees.
- Assist in the employee survey and performance review process for both internal employees and external client's employees.
- Assist in processing bi-weekly payroll.
- Create and maintain complete and confidential files for each employee.
- Process, verify and maintain documentation relating to personnel activities such as staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations and classifications.
- Assist with company benefit administration to include enrollment forms, plan questions, claims resolution, and open enrollment.
- Establish and maintain department records and reports; recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency and services performed.
- Respond to applicant inquiries in-person, over the phone and via email.
- Respond to various information requests from governmental agencies, such as Unemployment, in a timely manner.
- Record and maintain data for each employee, including such information as addresses, weekly earnings, absences, supervisory reports on performance, change of statuses, and dates of and reasons for terminations.
- Answer questions regarding eligibility, salaries, benefits and other pertinent information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Office Suite software:
- Proficiency in all Microsoft suite of products
- iSolved preferred
- Salesforce CRM preferred
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred
- 3 years of experience as an HR coordinator preferred
- Exposure to Labor Law and employment equity regulations
- Exposure to payroll practices
- Full understanding of HR functions and best practices
- Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
- Fantastic organizational and time management skills
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Exhibit extraordinary discretion, confidentiality, flexibility, and willingness to work closely with our team
Certificates and Licenses:
Professional in Human Resources Certification preferred - successful candidates should be willing to obtain PHR Certification within one year of hire date.
